Aw, back to school, huh? Things here at Rockhurst have gotten off to a pretty good start!I’m busy as always, and it is hard being far away from home, but I am really glad to be back!My plane landed almost a month ago and I don’t think I’ve had a moments rest since then! I’m living in a townhouse on campus, and I absolutely love it. As a sophomore I have more roommates than normal (there are six of us in all. Yikes!), but I really wouldn’t trade it for anything. I think we all work together pretty well, and I’m glad we all decided to do this together. But of course, outside the house there is even more going on! I'm in the middle of the rehersal proccess for RU's fall play, Approaching Zanzibar. For awhile I was also busy with choir practices for Mass of the Holy Spirit, which was last Thursday. How have I forgotten to mention classes so far?! I have 16 credits this semester and my schedule is pretty decent. The best part is, I only have one class Monday, Wednesday and Friday! But that leaves four for every other day, which isn’t always the greatest of situations. Everything so far is going pretty well, I’m just still hoping to have enough room in my schedule to work enough hours. I got a job as a tellacounselor for RU, which I am very excited about, but I am still not sure how I will fit it into my schedule. Oh well, I know I’ll manage somehow! With all the craziness of the semester so far I have been very glad with any free time I may have. There's been a lot going on on and off of campus lately, and I've really been enjoying all the different oppurtunities. Lately there has been a lot going on out in the city, like City Market downtown and The Waldo Fall Festival. I've also really been enjoying doing things like going to soccer games, hanging out, and, how can I forget, it's been birthday week in my townhouse, with two of my roommates having birthdays in the last seven days! So, busy as everything has been, I can't say that I haven't been

enjoying all the hustle and bustle of Rockhurst and Kansas City so far!
Happy Birthday Lindsey Griffith!
