Summer sure has gotten into full swing, and the restful days are very welcomed compared to the hectic days of finals! I've been back on the East Coast now for a couple of days and only have a few weeks to relax and spend time with friends, family and the Atlantic Ocean before heading back to...Missouri! That's right, this summer I am spending my warm weather days working in Joplin, Missouri for Vector Marketing in order to make some extra money and enjoy a new experience away from home and school (though, admittedly, quite a bit closer to school!). Since finals ended and the spring semester came to a close, I have been very busy helping people and myself pack up and move out of the townhouses and dorms. It's crazy to think that already over a week has passed since moving out of my townhouse and off of campus, but then again each day has been filled with so much to do that I can't believe it has only been a week. Coming home has been a great so far, and I am happy to report that I made five A's and one B+ this semester, making it a pretty decent success. Hopefully the fall semester will be equally as lucrative.
I have a lot planned the next few months and I'm really looking forward to enjoy all the summer has to offer outside of Rockhurst Univeristy. It should be a pretty enjoyable summer! Now back to the sunshine and waves!
