Finals!

The end of the year has finally arrived! Today was the last day of classes, meaning tomorrow is "dead day," and Thursday begins the intense process of finals. This year I have four finals, as one of my classes does not include a final (leadership seminar), and my sixth class ended mid semester. All of my finals this semester are the first two days available, meaning this week will be full of crazy amounts of studying, but come Friday at 3 pm, I will be halfway through college!

Tulips on Troost!

Before I can get to that glorious point I have to live through the next three days, which will be hectic but do able. Tomorrow, as I mentioned before, is "dead day" meaning no class and lots of study time. It's also an opportunity for clubs and organizations to hold last meetings and celebrations. Rockhurst Players will having a BBQ to celebrate the end of our year and holding elections for the coming year. It will be a good time to relax, take a break from studying, and of course enjoy free food!

It's crazy to think that the year is coming to an end. Its been very long, but very rewarding. It's always crazy to think how quickly time passes. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday I was graduating from high school, and now I am halfway through with my undergraduate college career. Thinking about all of this makes me very glad I chose Rockhurst, as I feel I am able to get the most out of my short time. At Rockhurst I am able to create a unique, personal, and meaningful experience that will really make this four years stand out. Even though this next few days of finals will be crazy and I'm beginning to get stressed from all the studying, I do know that it has been a great year with so many wonderful memories!
A great study break!
