Spring break has come and gone! But what a welcomed break it truly was! I had a crazy week leading up to the well celebrated week off, with two friends from home in town on their spring breaks, plus a few midterms to prepare for. All in all, the week was more pleasure than pain, as it was really nice to see faces from home and mix my Virginia friends with my Missouri friends. My house was quite crowded! We even moved one of the extra mattresses into the living room one night and had a slum
ber party! I really enjoyed spending time with friends from high school here at College. They felt very welcomed into the Rockhurst Community, and though couldn't believe the tiny size in comparison to their rather large university, loved it nonetheless! One of them even accompanied me to my Script Analysis class on Wednesday, enjoying the opportunity to see into a class she hasn't experienced as well as witness what it is like to have such a personal environment in the classroom. Their presence and comments from the East Coast and from their larger university reminded me of some of the reasons I really enjoy Rockhurst'
s central location and smaller size, offering midwest kindness and personal attention from teachers, staff and administrators here at Rockhurst!

That is, until our short but very welcomed Easter Break, making this upcoming weekend four days! This Easter I'm headed to Lincoln, Nebraska to stay with a friend of mine. Looking forward to yet another break from studying and classes! But, for now, school here I come!
