Whoa, what a week! The play, De Donde, wrapped up this weekend allowing for a very exciting and hectic past few days! All in all, the run went well, from opening night until strike this afternoon. We had a pretty good turn out for the show, especially Friday night when we had an Immigration group come see the show. It was quite rewarding to be involved with such a unique project. I think De Donde carries a very important message that we as Jesuit students and therefore citizens of the world, should understand and care about.
With all the stress and excitement of the show and classes this week it was nice to find peace of mind through different outlets. This past week I found myself making my way back to a workout plan. I really enjoy that Rockhurst, like several universities, offers free gyms, allowing for a healthy lifestyle. I think it is important that we take advantage of this oppurtuniy, using Rockhurst's great facilities to get or stay in shape. I myself really enjoy the start, or sometimes break, it adds to my day. Since I live in the townhouse village, I often use the very small gym located in the community center, which is very convenient for me. I really appreciate Rockhurst's commitment to healthy living!
