Halloween this year was amazing! I had a ton of fun with roommates and friends, decorating our house, creating costumes and of course, celebrating in many fashions! This year I had three different costumes, from a witch to hippie to a rock star! Some of my roommates and I went out the previous Friday night and had a blast. My roommate and good friend Nicole was a vampire while I was a witch, we truly felt we were bringing back the classics :) Wednesday was the best night of all, with 2 of my housemates and one of my great friends I actually going trick or treating, like old times :) We dressed up and went out around Ward parkway, where we spent a few hours going door to door like we were little kids again! Let me tell you, it was amazing!

So now I am spending my lovely Saturday afternoon hitting the books. I'm writing a paper about Autism for my Biology of the Contemporary Scene class. Speaking of bio class, this week we took a field trip to the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, where my professor sometimes volunteers. It is a very unique experience, and it was interesting learning about the mission and importance of the center. If you've never been, I suggest you take a trip, especially since it is 100% free! But now, back to writing my paper...Though homework isn't always the most fun thing to do on a Saturday afternoon, it has been quite a busy and long week for me, and it is nice to have a bit of a break. Hope everyone reading has a wonderful weekend!
