Despite the bone chilling nighttime weather, I must say that campus has been beautiful the past week or so. I really enjoy the lights and the Christmas tree in the quad, it really sets a Christmas tone, and gets me in the Holiday spirit! It is really enjoyable to see the Rockhurst-festive christmas lights sparkling in the night, even as the cool night breeze cuts right through my winter jacket!But, whether aside, this last week was the final week of classes for fall semester, and I have to say it was quite hectic getting everything together and heading to class one last time, but it is weird to think how quickly this semester has gone! I feel like it was only a few weeks ago I was flying back to Rockhurst, collecting school supplies, getting use to my class schedule and the like! I can't believe it is already December, though I am looking forwarded to heading home for 6 weeks! It will be good to see my family and spend time with wonderful friends from home, as well as just be in my house for the first time since August! It was an enjoyable semester, from theatre to classes to make new friends and the like! Now, however, it is time to gear up and get serious about finals and packing. My finals are not bad at all this year, as I only have THREE. Yes, out of 6 classes, I have 3 finals! This week then will revolve around hours of test taking and several hours of studying, but as fast as time has flown this year, I know that before I know I will be selling some of my books back and catching a plane! On that note, finals here I come!
